The next phase of a new marina office and retail development at Greenock's James Watt Dock has moved a step closer.
A building warrant application has been submitted to Inverclyde Council for stage two of the project at the James Watt Dock Marina office, in the Garvel Dock complex on East Hamilton Street.
The application relates to the erection of the marina office and two retail units, covering the superstructure and all other associated construction works.
The latest submission follows planning approval for updated proposals to create new facilities at the marina.
Plans approved by Inverclyde Council include a building featuring office space, changing facilities, meeting rooms and a plant room, alongside one retail unit and one food and drink unit.
Planning permission was originally granted in March 2022 for a marina administration building and commercial unit, but revised proposals relocated the building and reduced its scale.
The updated development will be a single-storey building covering around 400 square metres and will face onto Douglas Rae Road.
The building warrant application, submitted by Rebecchi Architectural, is currently pending consideration by Inverclyde Council's building standards team.
